Consistently heavy yields
Thornless canes, easy picking
Extended fruiting period
Disease resistant
Enjoy consistent, heavy yields of large, extra-sweet berries, easily harvested from thornless, fully erect canes. Bred by the University of Arkansas, this cultivar has a very long fruiting season, extending for five weeks, so you have more time to enjoy the delicious, flavorful fresh fruit—and make some of the blackberries into jams, preserves, cobblers or pies. Ouachita, pronounced “watch-it-taw,” is prolific and very highly disease resistant. The vines grow 4-5 ft. tall, and the fruits ripen in mid to late June. Zones 5-9. PP17162.
